Now that the summer heat is over here in Palm Springs, it’s such a treat to have the Palm Springs Vintage Market http://palmspringsvintagemarket.com/back here in town at the Palm Springs Cultural Center https://palmspringsculturalcenter.org/ (2300 E. Baristo Road).
If you are a collector and love to search for treasures, come experience a diverse gathering of merchants selling vintage, retro and mid-century modern merchandise. Here’s a little sampling of what you might find at the market…
For the price of $5, one can peruse through many stalls of goodies. There are also local musical artists to enjoy and if you are hungry, you can buy one of the BEST burritos (just in case you need to fuel up before or after your shopping). Parking is free. Well behaved/trained dogs are allowed on leash.
Why not plan your next Palm Springs weekend around the market? Here are the dates for your calendar (Times: 8 am – 2 pm):
December 2, February 3, February 17 (and extra treat during Modernism Week),
March 3, April 7, and May 5
And of course, for the perfect compliment to your mid-century, vintage, retro shopping experience, come and stay with us here at The Monkey Tree Hotel. Did we mention that many of the décor and furniture items were sourced at the Palm Springs Vintage Market by us – including the sofa in our reception area and many of the items in our dining room and guest rooms!
If you are making a reservation at The Monkey Tree Hotel https://www.themonkeytreehotel.com/, give us a call at 760-322-6059 during business hours (9 am to 5 pm PST) and we will be happy to provide you with a 10% discount (excluding the months of March and April) for your stay. Please note that we have a two-night minimum stay on weekends.
