Following the Governor’s Dec. 3, 2020 Regional Stay at Home Order, lodging operations would be allowed to continue to operate as follows:
For instate visitors, short-term lodging (including hotels, motels, vacation rentals, and time shares) will continue to be able to operate as long as those visitors are either: (1) “essential” workers; or (2) traveling for COVID-19 mitigation and containment measures.
For out of state visitors, a separate rule applies. Short-term lodging is allowed to continue to operate and be available if either: ( 1) those visitors are “essential” workers; or (2) those visitors are traveling for above-referenced COVID mitigation purposes; or (3) those visitors are traveling for non-essential travel, but the reservation is for at least the minimum 14-day time period required for quarantine
We continue to care about your safety and the safety of our staff, and we have taken additional steps to help with this effort.
Here are some NEW items that have been revised based on Covid-19…
Prior to your arrival, we will send you an email with the option for an on-line contactless check-in which will include uploading a photo of your driver’s license and your electronic signature. If you do not want to participate in the contactless check-in, we will provide our standard in-person check-in which involves your signature, reviewing our policies and taking a copy of your driver’s license and credit card. (Please note that this option takes a bit more time and is conducted in our outdoor reception area.)
In Palm Springs, face covering is required at all businesses (hotels restaurants and shops) and we continue to practice social distancing. Upon check-in, our staff will greet you wearing a mask. It is mandatory per the city of Palm Springs that we post signs regarding masks and social distancing around the property.
We ask that when you arrive that you are wearing a mask (as this is required in Palm Springs at all businesses). If you do not have a mask, we will provide a disposable one for you. Once you have checked in and are in any outdoor public spaces, you may remove your mask and we ask that you maintain 6’ of social distance from other guests. All outdoor furniture has been spaced specifically to provide for this amount of social distancing space. Please do not move the outdoor furniture. We are located on one acre and there is plenty of room around here.
Your room will be equipped with everything you need (including your sanitized keys in a plastic bag) and if you need any additional items, just let us know. For the safety of our guests and staff, staff members will not enter your room once you have checked in. We will not be providing a “stay-over” cleaning for multiple night stays. We will coordinate a daily trash pick-up and provide fresh bath and pool towels, soaps, shampoos, and coffee refills as needed via our concierge text app.
In your room and throughout the property, cleanliness is always our highest priority and we will continue to maintain our standards. We have alcohol-based hand sanitizer stations in common areas as well as disinfecting spray for your use. All guest rooms have private patios out in front of the rooms, and entrances to all rooms are from the courtyard. There are no closed hallways or elevators. In our public spaces you will see increased frequency of wipe downs in high contact areas – including front desk and door handles.
Until further notice, we have removed communal items. We will deliver a continental breakfast to your room each morning (wearing a mask and leaving outside your door).
We are not able to offer on-site massages by our vendor or any outside vendors. And like before, only registered guests are allowed on the property.
New cancellation policy: In the event you are not feeling well and must cancel seven (7) days prior to arrival, we will charge the full amount of your stay and a gift certificate (good for 1 year) will be provided in lieu of a refund. In the event of a government- mandated hotel closure which forces us to cancel your reservation, you will receive a full refund.
